Less comon symptoms
These following symptoms are less likely to appear, but if you have them it might mean that you have been infected with the virus.
- Disarrhoea
- Loss of taste or smell
- Congestion
- Muscle or body aches
Symptoms that require emergency action
If you have these symptoms, you must seek emergency immediately. The emergency number for the United Kingdom is 999.
- Extreme trouble in breathing
- Persistent chest pain
- Inability to wake or stay awake
